Erasmus+ Youth Exchange
About the project
The goal of our project is to improve entrepreneurship knowledge, skills and attitudes among young people coming from Romania, Hungary and Slovakia by the end of the project, thus empowering them to create their own job opportunities that are less dependent on seasonal tourism.
Activities
Phase 1
It will be focused on team-building and group dynamics. Participants will get to know each other, establish a Code of Conduct, and discuss safety and preventive measures. They'll be introduced to the Erasmus+ programme and Youthpass certificate, and conduct an initial evaluation of expectations, contributions, fears, and learning outcomes. Activities are designed to promote multicultural interaction and group cohesion. (Days 1-2)
Phase 2
The main part of the project, focusing on entrepreneurial competencies. Participants will explore entrepreneurship in a non-formal setting, covering topics like market research, business planning, financial management, sustainable practices, and negotiation strategies. (Days 3-8)
Phase 3
Evaluation of the exchange's progress and success. The phase includes finalizing a dissemination plan, creating a guide with tips for young entrepreneurs, and summarizing the key concepts learned during the project, including business planning, marketing, and financial management. (Day 9)
When?
From 13th October 2024 to 23rd October 2024 (including travel days).
Where?
The youth exchange will take place in Sambata de Sus, a commune in Brasov county, Romania 70 kilometers away from the center of the city Brasov.
We will stay at the ''Mountain King'' pension where the accommodation conditions are suited to our needs and the pension is located in the heart of the village, away from the crowded areas, with the pure air of the nearby forest.
Each room will provide accommodation for four participants, with two double beds available.
Every day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided at the same place, as well as coffee breaks. There is a bathroom in each room.
Travel
Everyone will travel by a bus arranged by us. Slovaks will have to travel to Kecskemét - their travel from Slovakia to Kecskemét will be reimbursed after the mobility. Hungarians will have to get to Kecskemét on their own expense. Exact meeting point and time will be communicated after the selection.
Information about transportation for Romanians will be provided after selection.
Participant profile
Be aged between 18 and 25 years old.
Be a citizen or a resident in one of the participant countries: Romania, Slovakia, Hungary
Have an interest into the topic of the project.
Be present for the whole duration of the program and commit to be involved.
Available to participate in non-formal and informal education dynamics.
Willing to disseminate the results of this activity and the Erasmus+ program to other groups of young people.

How does it work:
Once you apply we will review your applcation. Make sure you carefully read the terms and conditions availalbe on the application form.
If approved, you will receive an e-mail with instructions for the next steps and a link to join the common WhatsApp group of the project.
All selected participants have to pay a deposit of 50 EUR to guarantee comittment for joining the program. The amount does not constitute a participation fee or donation, and it will be refunded within two weeks after the mobility.
Two online preparatory events will be organised, first meeting will be internally within the national group and the second one will be international. This is the perfect time to get to know the group, meet the project team and discuss the last aspects before the project. Exact date and time will be communicated later via email.
