Getting young people involved in democratic life
Voice of Democracy was a 10-day youth exchange with one main objective: helping 36 young people from Romania, Serbia and North Macedonia become more involved in democratic life.
Participants explored the core principles of democracy, how institutions and decision-making processes actually work, and how they can play a more active role in their local communities. They also built practical skills — finding reliable information in challenging situations and expressing their views in a constructive, respectful way.
At its heart, the project aimed to spark young people’s interest in the electoral process and inspire them to become more conscious, active and responsible citizens.
